【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청(교육감 강은희)이 지난 상반기 교육재정 신속집행에서 교육부 목표를 1,338억 원이나 초과 달성하며 10억 원의 성과급을 받았다고 7일 밝혔다.
올해 신속집행 대상 예산 1조 5,409억 원 중 1조 180억 원을 집행해 66.1%의 집행률을 기록했다.
이는 교육부가 설정한 8,842억 원의 상반기 목표를 크게 뛰어넘은 수치이며, 대구시교육청이 자체 설정한 9,969억 원의 목표도 초과했다.
대구시교육청은 물품 통합 구매와 학교회계전출금 조기 교부, 맞춤형 복지비 조기 집행, 공사 계약의 조기 발주 및 선금 지급 확대, 집행 특례 적극 활용 등 다양한 방법으로 신속한 재정 집행을 추진했다.
부교육감이 이끄는 재정집행점검단이 집행 상황을 수시로 점검한 덕분에, 최근 5년 중 가장 높은 집행률을 기록할 수 있었다고 시교육청 관계자는 전했다.
강은희 교육감은 “하반기에도 지역 경제 활성화와 교육재정 효율화를 위해 최선을 다하겠다”며 “집행 현황을 꼼꼼히 점검해 실적이 저조한 사업의 원인을 파악하고 적극 독려해 예산 집행의 효율을 높이고 지역 경기 회복에 힘이 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.
