(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 14일, 여름철 계절 꽃 조성 사업의 하나로 상동호수공원과 도당공원에 수국을 중심으로 한 여름꽃 경관을 조성했다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 봄 원미산 진달래에 이어 여름에는 수국으로 계절별 꽃 도시 조성을 이어가고 있다.
이번 사업은 당초 원미·소사·오정 권역 6개 공원을 대상으로 계획했으나, 확보된 예산에 따라 상동호수공원과 도당공원에 우선 조성했다.
상동호수공원과 도당공원에 조성된 수국 경관은 도심 내에서 다양한 품종의 수국을 한눈에 볼 수 있는 공간으로, 시민들이 여름철 계절 꽃을 가까이에서 즐길 수 있도록 구성됐다.
식재된 주요 품종은 ‘엔들리스 서머’와 ‘라임라이트’로, 각각 푸른빛과 흰빛을 띠는 수국이다.
