(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 지난 22일부터 23일까지, 인천진로교육센터와 10개 진로체험지원센터가 협력해 ‘2025 인천 현장 진로·직업체험의 날’을 운영했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 지난해에 이어 두 번째로 개최된 이번 행사에는 인천 지역 103개 진로체험처에서 총 298개 프로그램을 운영했으며 초·중·고 학생 4,074명이 참여해 다양한 직업을 체험했다.
학생들은 의료·보건, 과학기술, 방송·예술, 법률·행정, 외식·서비스 등 다양한 분야의 직업 현장을 직접 찾아가 실무와 유사한 활동을 진행했다.
체험처는 사전 희망 분야 신청을 바탕으로 배정했으며, 인천시교육청도 진로체험처로 개방했다.
이번 체험은 단순한 직업 정보 제공을 넘어, 학생들이 적성과 흥미를 바탕으로 진로를 구체적으로 설계할 수 있도록 지원하는 데 중점을 뒀다.
인천시교육청 관계자는 “학생들이 교실을 넘어 사회와 미래를 직접 경험하는 소중한 기회였다”며 “앞으로도 현장 중심의 진로교육을 지속 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
