【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=한국건강관리협회 대구광역시지부(본부장 김태욱)는 지난 22일과 23일, 달구벌정신건강센터 회원을 대상으로 사회공헌 건강검진을 실시했다.
달구벌정신건강센터는 정신장애인의 자립 생활을 지원하는 지역 기반의 정신재활시설로, 이번 건강검진은 회원들이 질병을 조기에 발견하고 건강한 삶을 유지할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 마련됐다.
건협 대구는 세잎클로버, 해인정신건강센터, 참누리정신건강상담센터 등 중독자 재활시설 및 장애인 복지기관을 대상으로도 건강검진을 정기적으로 실시하며, 의료복지 사각지대 해소를 위한 사회공헌 활동을 이어가고 있다.
김태욱 본부장은 “이번 검진이 장애인분들이 건강한 일상을 유지하고 지역사회에서 안정적으로 생활하는 데 도움이 되기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 취약계층의 의료복지 향상을 위한 노력을 지속하겠다”고 밝혔다.
