(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 남동구 남동문화재단이 24일, 남동구 어린이들의 문화예술 창작활동을 장려하고 지역사회 문화 향유 기회를 확대하기 위해 ‘남동구 어린이 그림 공모전’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
재단에 따르면, 공모전은 서창생활문화센터 기획전시의 하나로, 남동구에 거주하거나 관내 초 등학교에 재학 중인 1~6학년을 대상으로 진행된다.
공모 주제는 ‘내가 생각하는 남동구의 자랑’(△풍경장소 △역사적 인물전설 △문화유산 △남동구에서의 추억 등)으로 선정해 자유로운 기법으로 작품을 완성하면 된다.
작품 접수는 8월 25일 오후 6시까지이며, 실물 작품은 서창생활문화센터(서창어울마당 2층) 방문 접수, 관련 서류는 이메일을 통해 제출해야 한다.
대상부터 특선까지 수상작(총 21점)은 남동문화재단에서 운영하는 서창생활문화센터에서 전시 작품으로 활용될 예정이다.
수상작 중 대상 1명에게는 남동구청장 상장, 그 외 수상자(최우수상, 우수상, 장려상, 특선, 입선)에게는 남동문화재단 대표이사 상장과 모바일 문화상품권이 수여된다.
남동문화재단 관계자는 “이번 공모전을 통해 어린이들이 지역의 소중한 자산을 창의적으로 재해석하고, 문화예술을 통해 남동구를 새롭게 바라보는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 생활 속 문화가치를 실현할 수 있도록 다양한 문화프로그램을 추진하겠다”고 전했다.
한편, 재단은 하반기 중 남동구민 성인을 대상으로 한 그림 공모전도 진행할 계획이다.

또한, 남동구 도시관리공단이 24일, ESG경영에 'I(Innovation, 혁신)'을 더한 ESG+I 전략 실현의 일환으로 ‘2025 ESG+I 주민참여 아이디어 공모전’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
공단에 따르면, 공모전은 지역 주민이 체감하는 생활 속 문제를 창의적인 아이디어로 제안하고, 이를 공공정책 및 서비스에 반영함으로써 실질적인 사회적 가치를 창출하기 위한 취지로 기획됐다.
특히, 단순한 제안 수렴에 그치지 않고, 정책 설계와 시범사업까지 연계될 수 있는 실행 중심의 주민참여 모델을 만드는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.
공모전은 지난 7월 14일부터 오는 8월 14일까지 한 달간 진행되며, 누구나 참여할 수 있다.
공모 분야는 환경(E), 사회(S), 지배구조(G), 혁신(I)의 4개 분야다.
