【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경북교육청 독립운동길 순례단이 광복 80주년을 맞아 상하이에서 대한민국 임시정부의 발자취를 따라 걸었다.
지난 27일부터 8월 2일까지 진행되는 국외 항일 유적지 탐방의 첫 번째 여정으로, 광복의 의미를 되새기는 특별한 시간이 됐다.
본격적인 답사에 나선 순례단은 28일부터 29일까지 1박 2일간 상하이 일대 독립운동 유적지를 둘러봤다.
이번 탐방은 대한민국 임시정부의 1910년대 초창기 활동부터 충칭 정착까지의 역사적 흐름을 그대로 따라가는 방식으로 구성됐다.
첫날인 28일에는 임시정부의 태동과 초기 활동상을 집중 탐방했다. 상하이 남창로의 신규식 선생 초기 활동지와 하비로 임시정부 첫 번째 청사 추정지를 시작으로, 김동삼 선생이 국민대표회의를 열었던 모이당과 1920년 임시정부 신년 축하식이 열린 영안백화점 자리를 차례로 방문했다. 저녁에는 와이탄 일대를 걸으며 황포강 의거지를 직접 확인하는 시간도 가졌다.
29일에는 보경리 대한민국 임시정부 청사를 방문한 뒤, 윤봉길 의사의 의거지로 유명한 훙커우공원과 항일운동가들이 안장된 만국공묘를 찾았다. 헌화와 묵념을 통해 독립운동가들의 숭고한 정신을 되새기는 뜻깊은 시간을 보냈다.
답사에 참가한 학생은 "말이 통하지 않는 이국에서 단 하루를 보내는 것도 힘든데, 나라를 잃은 채 이곳에서 독립을 위해 싸우셨던 분들의 삶은 얼마나 고단했을까 생각했다"며 "그분들의 용기와 희생정신에 진심으로 찬사를 보내며 묵념했다"고 소감을 전했다.
순례단은 앞으로 자싱과 난징, 충칭 등 임시정부의 이동 경로를 따라 독립운동 유적지를 차례로 답사할 예정이다.
각 도시별 시기별 독립운동의 배경과 활동 내용을 직접 체험하며 항일운동의 전개 과정을 입체적으로 이해하는 교육 여정이 계속된다.

A student who participated in the tour said, "It's difficult enough to spend even a single day in a foreign country where we don't speak the language, so I thought about how difficult the lives of those who fought for independence here, having lost their country, must have been. I paid a moment of silence, paying my sincere tribute to their courage and sacrifice."
The pilgrimage group plans to visit historical sites of the independence movement along the route of the Provisional Government, including Jiaxing, Nanjing, and Chongqing.
This educational journey will continue as they experience the background and activities of the independence movement in each city, providing a multi-faceted understanding of the development of the anti-Japanese movement.
