시는 올해 중·대형 전기버스 2대를 보급할 계획이며, 오는 8월 1일부터 20일까지 약 20일간 신청을 받으며, 구입을 원하는 시민이나 기관은 기간 내 서류를 제출해야 한다.
지원금은 차량 성능과 크기에 따라 최대 차량가격의 70%까지 지원되며, 중·대형 전기버스 기준으로 평균 1억4000만원 정도가 지급될 예정이다.
