최용원 회장이 이끄는 단체는 13일 광복절 태극기 달기 시범 아파트로 선정된 힐스테이트데시앙 도남3단지 556세대에 태극기를 배부하고 나라사랑 태극기 운동 성공 기념식을 열었다고 밝혔다.
행사는 주민참여 체험 프로그램인 손도장 찍기로 시작됐다. 이어 도남숲 3단지 어린이집 원아 45명이 '태극기' 동요에 맞춰 손태극기를 휘날리는 퍼포먼스를 펼쳤다. 태극기를 매개로 주민들이 하나가 되는 뜻깊은 시간이었다.
특히 힐스테이트데시앙 도남3단지 주민 556세대 전원이 태극기 게양에 동참해 화제가 됐다. 이에 따라 배광식 북구청장이 정현식 입주민 대표에게 광복절 전 세대 태극기 달기 운동 시범아파트 인증패를 전달했다.

배광식 북구청장은 "태극문양과 건곤감리라는 우주 만물의 원리를 담아내어 끝없이 창조와 번영을 희구하는 한민족의 이상을 담고 있는 것이 바로 대한민국의 태극기"라며 "이번 행사를 통해 국경일 각 가정에 태극기를 게양하는 분위기가 더욱 널리 조성되어 나라 사랑하는 마음이 퍼져 나가기를 바란다"고 전했다.
