진주시, 특별재난지역 주민 대상 상하수도 요금 50% 감면

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 지난 7월 기록적인 집중호우로 피해를 입은 시민들의 경제적 부담을 줄이고 신속한 일상 회복을 돕기 위해 9월분 상하수도 요금을 50% 감면한다고 21일 밝혔다.

이번 조치는 특별재난지역으로 지정된 데 따른 것으로, 집중호우로 피해를 입은 주민들에게 실질적인 지원을 제공하고자 마련됐다.

감면 대상은 읍면사무소 또는 동행정복지센터에 피해 사실을 신고하고 확인을 받은 가구 중, 상하수도 사용 수용가 전체가 해당된다.

신청은 20일부터 오는 9월 30일까지 가능하며, 피해를 입은 농지나 건물이 소재한 읍면사무소 또는 동행정복지센터에 방문해 접수하면 된다.
