【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구가 오는 29일 향촌동 수제화 골목 일원에서 제12회 빨간구두이야기 축제를 개최한다.
중장년층은 물론 젊은 세대까지 어울려 즐길 수 있도록 수제화 가요제, 수제화 경매, 수제화 레크리에이션, 밴드 공연 등 다채로운 프로그램으로 구성된다.
또한 국가유산 야행과 연계해 행사장 내 홍보 부스를 운영하며 야간 관람객들에게 수제화 전통산업의 가치를 알릴 예정이다.
특히 외국인 관광객 유치를 위해 다국어 안내문을 제작해 배포하고 외국인 맞춤형 체험 부스를 운영한다.
체험 부스에서는 한국 전통의상과 수제화를 착용하고 기념사진을 찍어 즉석에서 인화해 제공한다.
개막식은 29일 오후 5시 향촌주차장에서 열리며 '빨간구두 아가씨'로 잘 알려진 가수 남일해의 축하공연과 함께 수제화 디자인 공모전 시상식, 제7회 수제화 명장 인증패 수여식이 진행된다.
류규하 중구청장은 "빨간구두이야기 축제는 향촌동 수제화 골목의 전통과 우수성을 널리 알리는 뜻깊은 행사"라며 "국가유산 야행과 연계한 이번 축제가 더 많은 국내외 관광객을 끌어들이는 계기가 되길 바란다"고 말했다.

Daegu's Jung-gu District will host the 12th Red Shoe Story Festival on the 29th in the handmade shoe alley of Hyangchon-dong.
