이날 청소년수련관 청소년극장에서 진행된 결단식은 선수단 사기 진작 및 지역 체육의 저력을 다짐하는 필승 의지를 다지기 위해 마련됐다.
결단식에는 최영일 군수와 손종석 순창군의회 의장 및 체육회 임원진을 비롯 각 종목별 회장 감독 등 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 개회ㆍ주요 참석자 소개ㆍ국민의례ㆍ출전 현황 보고ㆍ단기 수여ㆍ격려사 등의 순으로 성황리에 열렸다.
