부천시, 고용지표 개선 일자리 전문가 간담회 개최

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 지난 3일 시청 나눔실에서 ‘고용지표 개선을 위한 일자리 전문가 간담회’를 열고, 지역 고용 현황을 진단하고 개선 방안을 논의했다고 밝혔다.

부천시에 따르면, 이번 간담회는 부시장이 주재했으며, 한국산업인력공단 경기서부지사, 경기도일자리재단, 부천고용복지플러스센터, 부천상공회의소, 부천산업진흥원, 부천대·유한대 산학협력단 등 9개 일자리 유관기관 실무 책임자가 참석했다.

참석자들은 2025년 상반기 고용조사 결과를 공유하며 청년 고용률 저조, 신중년 일자리 불안정, 소규모 제조업체 중심 산업 구조 등 지역 고용 현안을 짚었다. 

이어 청년 맞춤형 직무훈련과 기업 연계, 산학협력 기반 현장실습 확대, 신중년 일자리 발굴 등 각 기관이 제시한 고용률 제고 방안을 논의했다.

특히, 청년층 체감실업률 개선과 신중년층 고용안정 강화를 동시에 추진하기 위해 기관 간 협업이 필요하다는 데 의견을 모았다.

남동경 부천시 부시장은 “이번 간담회는 기관과 대학 등 다양한 주체가 한자리에 모여 지역 고용문제를 함께 고민했다는 점에서 의미가 크다”며 “제시된 의견이 실질적인 일자리 대책으로 이어질 수 있도록 긴밀히 협력하겠다”고 말했다.
