【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 동구가 국토교통부가 주관하는 2026년 개발제한구역 주민지원사업 공모에 선정돼 국비 약 11억 원을 확보했다고 15일 밝혔다.
해당 사업은 환경문화사업 1건과 생활편익사업 4건으로, 내년부터 본격 추진된다.
총사업비 10억 원 규모의 ‘점새늪 경관개선 조성사업’이 대표 사업으로 꼽힌다.
동구는 사업비를 투입해 도심 속 환경문화자원인 점새늪에 수변 산책데크와 전망데크, 가로식재, 쉼터 등을 설치한다. 이를 통해 주민과 안심창조밸리 방문객들에게 휴식 공간을 제공하고, 동구만의 문화가치를 창출한다는 계획이다.
농가 주민들의 안정적 영농과 소득 향상을 지원하기 위한 용수동과 사복동 일원의 농로 정비 등 4건의 생활편익사업도 추진된다. 이들 사업에는 국비 1억9천만 원이 투입된다.
윤석준 동구청장은 “점새늪 경관개선사업을 통해 안심창조밸리를 동구 생태문화 관광명소로 발전시키겠다”며 “앞으로도 주민 생활 여건 개선과 지역경제 활성화를 위해 다양한 사업을 지속적으로 발굴·추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Dong-gu District Mayor Yoon Seok-jun said, “Through the Jeomsaeneup Landscape Improvement Project, we will develop Ansim Creative Valley into an ecological and cultural tourism attraction in Dong-gu,” and “We will continue to discover and promote various projects to improve the living conditions of residents and revitalize the local economy.”
