지난 20일 두류공원 2·28자유광장에서 열린 '두근두근 페스티벌'은 달서구 결혼특구 7주년을 기념해 개최됐다.
영진전문대 학생들은 부스에서 칵테일 플레어 쇼를 선보이며 참가자들의 시선을 끌었다.
학생들은 이재훈 교수의 지도 아래 직접 칵테일을 제조하고 서비스하며 그동안 갈고닦은 기술을 선보였다. 다채로운 색감과 신선한 맛으로 꾸며진 칵테일은 축제를 찾은 청춘 남녀에게 큰 호응을 얻었다.
이재훈 교수는 청춘 감성을 담아 창작한 '블루 키스', '레드 하트', '화이트 모히토' 등 3종과 화려한 플레어 쇼를 선보이며 관람객들의 관심을 집중시켰다. 방문객들은 평소 접하기 쉽지 않은 고품격 칵테일을 맛보며 감탄을 금치 못했다.
현장에서 실무를 체험한 학생들은 서비스 마인드와 전문 기술을 동시에 익히는 소중한 경험을 얻었다.
이재훈 교수는 "이번 행사가 학생들에게 실무 역량을 키우는 계기, 시민들에게는 고품격 칵테일 문화를 즐기는 기회가 되었기를 바란다"며 "앞으로도 지역 축제와 관광 산업에 기여하는 다양한 활동을 이어가겠다"고 말했다.
