【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 수성구(구청장 김대권)는 지난 27일 대구창의융합교육원과 동산초등학교 강당에서 ‘2025년 재난대응 안전한국훈련’을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 훈련은 대규모 재난이 발생했을 때 신속하고 체계적으로 대응할 수 있는 역량을 확인하고, 각 기관과 주민들의 대응 능력을 끌어올리기 위해 마련됐다.
훈련에는 수성구청을 비롯해 수성소방서, 수성경찰서, 501여단 3대대, 한국전력공사, 한국가스안전공사, KT, 대한적십자사, 천주성삼병원, 자율방재단, 의용소방대, 신대구부산고속도로, 어린이안전히어로즈 등 22개 기관과 단체 관계자와 주민 등 290여 명이 참가했다.
이날 참가자들은 다중 밀집 시설에서의 대형 화재와 인파 사고, 지반 침하로 인한 싱크홀 등 다양한 재난 상황을 가정해 토론과 현장 실습을 병행하는 방식으로 훈련을 진행했다. 특히 올 초 발생했던 대형 산불 사례를 반영해, 동산초등학교 강당을 이재민 임시 거주 시설로 지정하고 구호 활동에 집중하는 계획도 실전처럼 펼쳐졌다.
현장에서는 재난안전통신망을 적극 활용해 상황실과 실시간으로 교신을 주고받으며, 실제 재난 발생 시 신속한 대응 체계가 원활하게 작동하는지도 점검했다.
김대권 수성구청장은 “이번 훈련은 최근 사회적으로 이슈가 된 싱크홀 사고나 많은 인원의 대피 상황까지 반영해, 화재 진압뿐 아니라 구호 활동과 주민 대피 체계에도 중점을 뒀다”며 “앞으로도 꾸준히 훈련을 계속하고, 실제 재난이 발생했을 때 주민들의 생명과 안전을 지켜낼 수 있도록 대비에 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.

In particular, reflecting the large-scale wildfire incident earlier this year, a plan was implemented to designate the auditorium of Dongsan Elementary School as a temporary shelter for evacuees and focus on relief efforts.
On-site, the disaster safety communication network was actively utilized to communicate in real time with the situation room and to ensure the smooth operation of the rapid response system in the event of an actual disaster.
Suseong-gu District Mayor Kim Dae-kwon stated, "This training reflected recent social issues such as sinkhole accidents and large-scale evacuation situations, focusing not only on fire suppression but also on relief efforts and resident evacuation systems." He added, "We will continue this training and fully prepare to protect the lives and safety of residents in the event of an actual disaster."
