안양시의회 윤해동 의원(더불어민주당, 안양바)이 지난 11월 7일 안양시의회 소회의실에서 ‘재개발·재건축 정비사업 활성화를 위한 정책토론회’를 열었다.
이번 토론회는 재개발과 재건축 과정에서 발생하는 주민 갈등과 제도적 한계를 점검해, 안양시의 지속가능한 도시정비 방향을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다. 현장에는 250여 명의 시민과 전문가가 참석해 높은 관심 속에 활발한 논의가 이어졌다.
김학주 엠유엠파트너스 대표(전 한국부동산원 도시정비지원처장)가 ‘재개발·재건축 활성화를 위한 공공의 역할과 제도 개선 방안’이란 제목으로 주제로 발제를 했다. 그는 공공지원 확대와 정비사업의 투명성·공공성 확보를 강조하며 주민 신뢰를 바탕으로 한 지속가능한 정비사업 모델의 필요성을 제시했다.

윤해동 의원은 “예상보다 많은 시민들이 참석해 정비사업에 대한 높은 관심을 실감했다”며, “재개발·재건축은 단순한 물리적 정비가 아니라 시민의 삶의 질과 공동체 회복을 위한 중요한 과제”라고 말했다. 윤 의원은 이어서 “공공과 민간, 행정과 주민이 함께 제도의 미비점을 보완하고 현장의 목소리를 반영한 정책을 통해 지속가능한 정비사업 모델을 만들어가야 한다”고 강조했다.
