육군 제35보병사단(이하 35사단)이 지난 17일부터 도내 전 지역에서 '2025년 호국훈련'에 돌입한 가운데 19일 고창과 김제에서 '대테러 종합 훈련'을 실시했다.
이날 훈련은 35사단 예하 여단 2개 대대와 기동 중대 및 경찰ㆍ소방 등 150여 명이 참여해 국가중요시설에서 발생할 수 있는 다양한 테러 상황에 따른 임무 수행과 대응 능력 숙달에 중점을 두고 이뤄졌다.
