2025년 올해를 빛낸 한국인 대상, 경기도의회 성복임 의원 수상

경기도의회 성복임 의원(더불어민주당, 군포4)이 ‘2025년 올해를 빛낸 한국인 대상’ 지방의정 부문 대상을 수상했다.

성복임 의원은 지난 12월 12일 오후 서울 중구 한국프레스센터 20층 내셔널프레스클럽에서 열린 ‘제11회 올해를 빛낸 한국인 대상’ 시상식에서 지방의정 분야 수상자로 선정됐다. 해당 시상은 한 해 동안 각 분야에서 책임 있는 활동으로 국가와 지역사회 발전에 기여한 인물을 선정해 수여하는 상이다.

성복임 의원은 경기도의회 건설교통위원회 위원으로 활동하며 현장 중심의 정책 발굴과 도민 생활과 밀접한 입법 활동을 지속해 온 점을 높이 평가받았다. 2025년에는 민자도로 관리체계 개선을 위한 조례를 대표 발의했으며, 어르신 교통 지원 체계 확충을 주제로 한 토론회를 통해 고령층 이동권 보장 방안을 제시했다.

또한 시흥~수원 고속화도로, 군포 철도 지하화 등 지역 주요 현안에 대해서도 주민 안전과 생활환경 개선을 중심에 둔 의정활동을 이어오며 지역사회로부터 신뢰를 받아왔다.

Gyeonggi Provincial Council Member Seong Bok-im (Democratic Party of Korea, Gunpo 4) received the Grand Prize in the Local Legislation Category of the "2025 Koreans Who Shined This Year Award."

Seong was selected as the recipient of the Local Legislation Category at the 11th "Koreans Who Shined This Year Award" ceremony held on December 12th at the National Press Club on the 20th floor of the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul. This award recognizes individuals who have contributed to the development of the nation and local communities through responsible activities in various fields throughout the year.

As a member of the Construction and Transportation Committee of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council, Seong was highly recognized for her ongoing efforts to develop field-oriented policies and engage in legislative activities closely related to the lives of residents. In 2025, she introduced an ordinance to improve the private road management system and presented measures to ensure senior citizens' right to mobility through a forum on expanding the senior transportation support system.
