[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 홍태용 김해시장이 시민의 목소리를 듣기 위해 19개 읍․면․동 순회 일정을 마무리하면서 "소중한 의견 시정에 적극 반영 하겠다"고 밝혔다.
홍 시장은 지난 9일 진영읍을 끝으로 19개 읍․면․동을 순회하며 진행한 ‘시민공감 어울림 주민과의 대화’ 일정을 모두 마무리했다.
‘말하는 시민, 듣는 시장, 꿈과 희망을 나누다’라는 주제로 열린 이번 대화는 지난해 12월 22일 북부동과 내외동에서 시작해 3주간 시민들의 뜨거운 관심 속에 진행됐다.
이번 주민과의 대화는 기존의 형식을 탈피해 시민 편의와 접근성을 높인 점이 눈길을 끌었다.
시는 직장인과 학생 등 다양한 계층이 참여할 수 있도록 저녁 시간대 일정을 편성하고, 인터넷 사전 모집을 병행하여 참여의 폭을 대폭 넓혔다.
또한 관공서 뿐만 아니라 김해문화원, 도서관, 공연장 등 친숙한 장소에서 행사를 열어 시민들과 격의 없는 소통을 나눴다는 평가를 받았다.
홍 시장은 각 순방지에서 지난 민선 8기의 굵직한 성과들을 시민들과 공유하며 감사를 표했다.
