<브레이크뉴스 의정부=이용하 기자>의정부시 자금동주민센터가 지역 주민들과 함께 자금동의 미래 가치를 공유하고 2026년 정책 로드맵을 설계하는 소통의 장을 마련했다.
자금동은 지난 20일 주민센터 4층 다목적실에서 ‘성장의 결실과 함께, 더 큰 미래로’를 주제로 ‘2026년 자금동 주요업무보고회’를 개최했다고 21일 밝혔다.
이날 보고회는 새해 인사와 표창장 수여를 시작으로 자금동의 미래 비전 공유, 주민참여 영상 시청, 주민과의 대화 순으로 진행됐다. 특히 주민들이 직접 제작에 참여한 영상과 격의 없는 대화 시간은 지역 발전에 대한 깊은 공감대를 형성하며 큰 호응을 얻었다.

자금동은 이번 보고회를 통해 행정·교통·주거환경의 우수성을 재확인하고 주요 성과를 발표했다. 특히 반환공여지인 ‘캠프 카일’이 지난해 4월 경제자유구역 최종 후보지로 선정됨에 따라, 의료기술 기반 바이오메디컬 기업들의 유치 가능성을 강조했다. 군은 기업 유치가 실현될 경우 대규모 일자리 창출과 지역경제 활성화에 기폭제가 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
