21일 가평군 설악면에 따르면, 청평수력발전소는 지난 20일 관내 취약계층에게 전달해 달라며 3,000만 원 상당의 가평쌀 900포대(10kg 단위)를 기탁했다.
이번 기탁 물품은 수혜자들에게 가장 신선하고 맛 좋은 쌀을 제공하기 위해 기탁식 바로 전날 도정한 햅쌀로 준비되어 의미를 더했다.
기탁식에 참석한 이범석 청평수력발전소장은 “설악면 이웃들에게 전날 도정한 품질 좋은 가평 햅쌀을 나눌 수 있게 되어 매우 기쁘다”며 “2026년 한 해도 지역 주민과 늘 함께하며 상생하는 청평수력발전소가 되도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
