【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=한국건강관리협회(회장 김인원)가 소년한국일보와 공동으로 ‘제31회 한국건강관리협회 전국 초등학생 금연 글짓기·그림 공모전’을 개최한다.

교육부와 보건복지부가 후원하는 이번 공모전은 전국 초등학생(1~6학년)을 대상으로 한다. 일상 속 건강생활 실천과 금연의 중요성을 확산하기 위해 마련됐다.
올해 주제는 ‘나도 건강하게! 지구도 건강하게! 함께 건강 약속’이다. 참가 학생들은 금연 실천을 비롯해 올바른 식습관, 규칙적인 운동, 긍정적인 마음가짐, 깨끗한 환경을 지키는 생활습관 등을 글이나 그림으로 자유롭게 표현하면 된다.
공모 부문은 글짓기와 그림으로 나뉜다. 글짓기는 생활 글(200자 원고지 7장 내외)과 동시(원고지 3장 이내)로 응모할 수 있으며, A4 용지 작성 원고도 가능하다. 그림 부문은 8절 도화지에 크레파스·색연필·물감 등을 사용한 손 그림 작품으로 접수한다.
접수 기간은 3월 16일부터 4월 24일까지이며, 작품은 우편 또는 방문을 통해 제출하면 된다. 입상자는 5월 20일 한국건강관리협회와 소년한국일보 홈페이지를 통해 발표할 예정이다.
시상은 부문별 총 250명을 대상으로 진행된다. 교육부·보건복지부 장관상인 대상과 한국건강관리협회장상(금상) 등이 수여되며, 최다 출품 학교나 학원 등 단체에 대한 특별 시상도 마련된다.

Korea Health Management Association Hosts National Elementary School Smoking Cessation Essay and Drawing Contest
The Korea Health Management Association (Chairman Kim In-won) and the Boy's Korea Daily are jointly hosting the "31st Korea Health Management Association National Elementary School Smoking Cessation Essay and Drawing Contest."
Sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health and Welfare, this contest is open to elementary school students (grades 1-6) nationwide. It aims to promote healthy lifestyles and the importance of quitting smoking.
This year's theme is "Healthy Me! Healthy Planet! A Promise of Health Together." Participants are encouraged to freely express their smoking cessation practices, healthy eating habits, regular exercise, a positive mindset, and environmentally friendly lifestyle habits through writing or drawing.
The contest is divided into writing and drawing categories. Essays can be submitted in the form of essays (approximately seven pages of 200-character manuscript paper) or in the form of multiple-page essays (up to three pages). A4-sized manuscripts are also accepted. The drawing category requires hand-drawn artwork using crayons, colored pencils, or watercolors on 8-section drawing paper.
The submission period runs from March 16 to April 24, and artwork can be submitted by mail or in person. Winners will be announced on May 20th on the websites of the Korea Health Management Association and Boy's Korea Daily.
Awards will be presented to a total of 250 applicants in each category. Awards include the Grand Prize from the Ministers of Education and the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Korea Health Management Association President's Award (Gold Prize). Special awards will also be given to schools, academies, and other organizations with the most entries.
