경기도의회 여성가족평생교육위원회 소속 김재훈 의원(국민의힘, 안양4)이 펴낸 책 ‘함께라서 걸어갈 수 있는 길’ 출판기념 북토크가 지난 4일 안양시 관양빌딩에서 열렸다.
이번 행사는 현장 참석과 유튜브 라이브를 병행해 진행됐으며, 온라인 채팅을 통해 도민들과 실시간으로 소통하는 시간도 마련됐다.
‘함께라서 걸어갈 수 있는 길’은 김재훈 의원이 의정활동 현장에서 만난 도민들의 목소리와 삶의 이야기를 담은 에세이다. 정치는 멀리서 해답을 제시하는 일이 아니라, 도민과 함께 걸으며 해법을 모색하는 과정이라는 메시지를 중심에 뒀다.

이날 북토크에는 경기도의회 김철현 의원과 안양시의회 김주석 부의장을 비롯해 경기도사회복지협의회 전창호 회장, 경기도 장애인협회 총단체연합회 이영재 회장 등이 참석해 출판을 축하했다.
김재훈 의원은 “정치는 멀리서 답을 전하는 일이 아니라 함께 걸으며 답을 찾아가는 여정”이라며 “시장과 골목에서 들은 도민들의 목소리가 의정활동의 출발점이었다”고 지난 4년의 소회를 밝혔다.
이어 “사회복지사로서 현장의 작은 목소리까지 정책에 담아내기 위해 노력해왔다”며 “앞으로도 도민의 삶과 복지 향상을 위해 현장 중심의 의정활동을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
