안양산업진흥원(원장 조광희)이 대한산업안전협회와 산업안전 협력체계 구축을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.
안양산업진흥원은 지난달 30일 안양 창업지원센터에서 대한산업안전협회와 산업안전 및 안전보건 인식 확산을 위한 업무협약을 맺었다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 지역 산업현장의 안전문화 확산과 기업의 안전관리 역량 강화를 위해 추진됐다.
양 기관은 협약을 통해 산업안전보건 교육 프로그램 공동 추진, 기업 안전관리 역량 강화 지원, 산업안전 관련 정보 교류 및 컨설팅 협력, 지역 산업현장 안전문화 확산 등 다양한 분야에서 협력을 이어갈 계획이다.
특히 관내 기업들이 체계적인 안전보건 관리 시스템을 구축할 수 있도록 교육과 컨설팅 지원을 확대하고, 산업재해 예방과 안전의식 제고에 중점을 둘 방침이다.
조광희 원장은 “산업현장의 안전은 기업 경쟁력과 직결되는 핵심 요소”라며 “이번 협약을 통해 기업의 안전관리 역량을 높이고 안전문화가 정착될 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다. 이어 “앞으로도 기업과 근로자가 안심하고 일할 수 있는 산업환경 조성을 위해 협력 범위를 확대해 나가겠다”고 덧붙였다.
