울진군의회(의장 장선용)는 지난 11월 22일 제254회 울진군의회 제2차 정례회개회식을 시작으로 26일간의 의사일정에 돌입했다고 23일 밝혔다.

이번 제1차 본회의에서는 전찬걸 울진군수의 시정연설과 신상규 의원의 5분 자유발언이 있었고, 김창오 행정사무조사 특별위원장의 울진마린CC 관련 행정사무조사 결과보고의 건을 채택했다.
남은 회기 동안 군정질문과 집행부에서 제출한 2022년도 예산안, 울진 방문의 해 운영 및 지원 조례안, 도민행복대학 울진캠퍼스 민간위탁 동의안 등 11건을 처리하게 된다.
특히 11월 24일부터 12월 9일까지 예산결산특별위원회를 열어 2022년도 예산안을 심의하게 된다.
장선용 의장은 2022년도 예산안 및 조례안 등에 대하여 “경제회복과 연계된 예산과 단계적 일상회복에 맞는 지역관광 개발로 투자 효과를 극대화 할 수 있는 사업예산을 우선하여 위축된 지역경제 활성화에 기여하고 예산안을 심의하는 데 있어서 선심성·낭비성 예산이 있는지 면밀히 확인해야 한다”고 말했다.
