심상정 정의당 대선후보는 3일 윤석열·안철수 대선후보간 후보단일화를 선언한 데 대해 이같이 말하며 운을 뗐다.
심상정 후보는 이날 MBC 라디오 '김종배의 시선집중'에서 "안철수 후보가 '양당 체제 종식', 또 '다당제가 소신이다' 이렇게 말씀하셔서 저는 앞으로 다당제를 만들어나가는 파트너로 버텨주시길 바랐다"며 "그런데 결국 단일화를 하셔서 이제 제3지대의 길은 정리가 된 것 같다. 양당 사이에 저 심상정 하나 남았다"고 말했다.
이어 "사실 거대한 양당의 장벽 사이에서 버텨낸다는 게 쉬운 일이 아니다"라며 "그 장벽 사이에서 이 길을 버텨오려면 수많은 좌절을 딛고 자기 자신을 수 없이 갈아 넣어야 버틸 수 있다"고 했다.
심 후보는 야권후보 단일화에 대응해 정의당 표가 이재명 더불어민주당 후보에게 갈 가능성이 있냐는 질문엔 "이 후보한테 갈 표는 이미 다 갔다"며 "당에 의지해서 작은 미래를 도모해보고 싶은 분들은 이미 다 갔다. 제 남은 표가 이재명 후보로 더 갈 가능성도 별로 없다"고 내다봤다.
그러면서 "(제 지지율을) 두 자릿수 10%를 좀 만들어달라. 다당제의 책임연정으로 나가는 하나의 결정적인 계기가 될 것이다. 정의당은 양당을 대체하는 정당이 되고자 하는 게 아니라, 양당의 혁신과 4당 체제 이상의 다당제를 통해 국민들이 골고루 대변되고 이해와 요구를 놓고 협의 조정이 이뤄지는 정치를 꿈꾸고 지금까지 애써왔다"고 지지를 호소했다.

Asked if Justice Party leader Lee Jae-myung is likely to go to Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-myung in response to the unification of opposition candidates, Shim said, "All the votes for candidate Lee have already gone," adding, "Those who want to rely on the party to pursue a small future have already gone." "There is little possibility that the remaining votes will go further as candidate Lee Jae-myung," he predicted.
In the meantime, please make a double-digit 10% (my approval rating). It will be a decisive opportunity for the multi-party system to become a responsible coalition. The Justice Party did not want to become a political party replacing the two parties, but has been striving so far, dreaming of politics in which people are evenly represented, understood, and coordinated over demands through innovation of the two parties and a multi-party system.
