울진군은 지난 4일 발생한 산불로 인한 주민들의 피해복구에 박차를 가하고 있다고 10일 밝혔다.

군에 따르면 북면 두천리에서 시작된 이번 산불은 건조한 날씨와 강풍 등으로 7일째 이어지고 있으며, 10일 오전 7시 기준으로 산림영향구역이 17,873ha에 이른다.
신속한 피해 복구를 위해 구성한 울진군 특별재난복구 대응 본부에서 피해조사를 진행하여 9일 현재, 328동의 주택 피해를 비롯 시설물 636동 및 축사 10동, 비닐하우스 38동, 저온저장고 11동 등 농축산시설이 피해를 입은 것으로 조사됐다.
산불발생 즉시 적극적인 대처로 단한명의 인명피해는 없었으며 현재 15개소에 210여명의 주민들이 대피해 있는 상황이다.
군은 귀중한 재산을 잃고 실의에 빠진 주민들이 빠른 시일내에 안정된 일상으로 돌아갈 수 있도록, 이재민 임시거주시설 설치지원을 담당하는 이재민 안정지원T/F 팀을 구성하여 임시조립주택 설치 등에 총력을 다하고 있다.
임시조립주택 부지 확인을 위해 이재민과 동행하여 설치장소의 상수도, 전기시설, 등 기반시설 설치 현장을 확인할 예정이며, 부지가 없는 주민들을 위해서는 공동 거주 지역을 임시로 조성할 계획이다.
또한, 지난 9일 덕구온천호텔로 거처를 옮긴 이재민들의 이동불편 해소를 위해 셔틀버스 등의 운송 수단 지원방안도 검토 중에 있다.
전찬걸 울진군수는 “피해를 입은 사소한 부분도 누락되지 않도록 꼼꼼하게 상황을 살피고, 최대한 지원할 수 있는 방안을 마련하겠으니, 피해주민들도 15일까지 피해신고 접수를 꼭 해주시기 바란다”며“상심이 큰 이재민들에게 많은 분들이 위로와 관심을 보내주시기를 부탁드린다”고 전했다.
