현대백화점은 배송 물량이 정점에 이르는 오는 9월 2일부터 7일까지 정육․굴비 선물세트 등 신선식품에 대한 ‘야간 배송’ 서비스도 운영한다. 낮 시간 동안 집을 비워 식품을 바로 받지 못하거나, 상대적으로 선선한 저녁 시간대에 식품 배송을 원하는 고객을 위한 특화 서비스다.
또한, 현대백화점은 추석 명절 기간을 대비해 인력을 전년도 대비 10% 늘려, 물류센터 4000여 명 규모의 아르바이트 사원을 채용할 예정이다. 아르바이트 사원은 선물구매 접수 및 상담 지원․배송 업무를 담당한다.
