[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도가 30일 진해신항과 가덕신공항, 남부내륙철도, 2030 부산세계박람회 등 대형 국책사업을 활용하기 위한 ‘4대 국책사업 선제 대응 특별팀(TF)’ 가동에 들어갔다.
경남도는 그동안 주요 국책사업과 관련 분야별로 진행중인 연구를 경남도 전체 차원에서 종합적으로 연계하고 대형 국책사업을 지역 혁신의 계기로 삼고자 특별팀을 운영하게 됐다.
총괄 특별팀은 도시?교통?물류, 산업?경제, 문화?관광 등 3개 분과에 관련분야 대학교수, 연구원, 현업종사자 등 외부 전문가로 자문위원 7명이 참여하고, 경남연구원 박사 5명, 도 국장 6명 등 총 18명으로 구성했다.
또한 분야별 실무특별팀을 통해 다양한 아이디어를 모을 계획이다.
경상남도는 올해 12월까지 1단계로 운영해 4대 국책사업에 대한 분야별 대응전략을 도출한 후 구체화를 위해 2단계 특별팀을 지속 운영할 예정이다.
이날 첫 출범회의에서 국책사업별 주요현안과 현재 추진중인 도의 정책방향을 점검했다.
이어 두바이의 제벨 알리항, 에티하드 철도, 알 막툼 국제공항 등 트라이포트(Tri-port)를 기반으로 한 도시성장 사례와 우리나라 제1호 경제자유구역 개발사례인 인천공항 배후도시 발전성과를 통해 경남도에 적용 가능한 부분에 대해 함께 논의하는 시간을 가졌다.
최만림 행정부지사는 “진해신항, 가덕신공항, 철도 등 대형 국책사업을 기반으로 우리 지역에 새로운 경제성장축을 발전시켜야 한다”면서, “또한 2030 부산엑스포가 개최되면 경제 효과를 우리 도에 극대화할 수 있는 방안을 사전에 마련해야 한다”고 당부했다.
