군에 따르면 건강관리 코너는 민원실을 방문하는 군민 누구나 무료로 체성분 분석기를 이용해 체내 수분량 측정과 골격근량, 체지방량, 복부 비만율, 부위별 근육량, 신체 균형 등과 전자혈압계를 통한 혈압을 측정할 수 있다.
군은 군민들의 민원 처리 대기시간을 건강관리 코너 이용으로 유용하게 보낼 수 있고, 자신의 건강 상태를 간단하게 확인할 수 있어 건강증진에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
또한 군청 민원실에 군민들의 이용 편의를 위해 민원인용 PC, 복사기, 팩스, 휴대전화 충전기 등을 비치해 운영하고 있다.
