군에 따르면 유기질(퇴비)비료 지원사업은 농림축산부산물의 재활용, 자원화를 촉진하고 토양비옥도 증진 및 토양환경 보전을 통해 지속가능한 친환경농업 육성 및고품질 안전농산물 생산을 유도하기 위한 사업이다.
지원대상 비료는 유기질비료 3종(혼합유박,혼합유기질,유기복합)과 부숙유기질 비료 2종(가축분퇴비, 일반퇴비)이며 지원조건은 1포/20㎏ 기준 유기질비료(3종)은 1,600원, 가축분 및 일반퇴비는 등급에 따라 1,300∼1,600원까지 보조금이 정액 지원된다. 또한, 울진군에서는 농가부담을 줄여 주기 위해 관내 부숙 유기질비료에 한하여 300원/포(20kg)을 추가로 지원한다.
전극중 농정과장은“유기질(퇴비)비료지원을 희망하는 농가는 경작농지를 농업경영체에 빠짐없이 등록해야 하며 아울러 가축분 및 일반퇴비는 10a당 2,000kg을 이내로 신청해줄 것”을 당부했다.
