[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 농업·농촌의 가치를 알리고 농업인의 사기 진작과 자긍심 고취를 위한 제27회 농업인의 날 기념 행사가 16일 창원컨벤션센터 컨벤션홀에서 열렸다.
이날 행사는 박완수 도지사, 장진수 (사)경상남도농어업인단체연합회장, 김현철 도의회 농해양수산위원장, 김주양 농협중앙회 경남본부장, 농업인 단체 등 120여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘경남의 미래 농업이다’라는 슬로건으로 진행됐다.
이날 기념식에서 농업인의 날 정부포상 유공 9명, 자랑스러운 농어업인상 5명, 농업발전 유공 20명, 경남의 우수 쌀로 선정된 5개 업체에 대한 표창과 시상이 이어졌다.

특히, 올해로 28회째를 맞는 ‘자랑스러운 농어업인상’은 농어업발전에 기여하고, 경영을 모범적으로 실천해 온 농어업인들에게 명예와 자부심을 심어주는 농업 분야 최고의 상이다.
경남도는 지난 11일 자립경영, 농어업신인, 창의개발, 조직활동, 수산진흥 등 5개 부문에서 최고 농어업인을 1명씩 선정했다.
