[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 22일, 24일 양일간 여성회관 창원관 교육실에서 결혼이민자 50명을 대상으로 ‘결혼이민자 내 손으로 힐링’, ‘결혼이민자 자조모임_베트남 데이’를 진행했다고 24일 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 코로나19로 인해 소통과 교류에 제한이 있었던 결혼이민자들에게 심리·정서적 지원과 우울감을 해소하기 위해 마련했다.
‘내 손으로 힐링’은 연말을 맞아 마끄라메를 이용한 크리스마스 장식 만들기로 진행해 결혼이민자 간 소통의 시간을 통해 정서적 유대감을 형성하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.
이어진 ‘결혼이민자 자조모임_베트남 데이’는 베트남 결혼이민자 자조모임 회원을 대상으로 고국(베트남)음식인 월남쌈, 짜조, 고이꾸온 만들기를 진행하였으며, 고국음식 만들기를 통해 고향의 향수를 달래고 서로 격려하며 참여자들이 즐거운 시간을 함께했다.
베트남 출신의 한 참여자는 “동포들끼리 만나서 이야기도 나누고, 고향 음식을 나누며, 함께 체험할 수 있어 좋았다.”며 “자리를 마련해주신 창원시에 감사를 드린다”며 인사했다.
최종옥 여성가족과장은 “멀리 베트남에서 오신 여러분들에게 창원시가 좋은 친구이자 민원 해결사로서의 역할을 잘 감당할 수 있도록 최선을 다할 것이며, 결혼이민자들이 호응할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 통해 우리 사회에 잘 적응하도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
