[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] (사)김해시도시재생지원센터는 지난 9일 동상동 다어울림센터 6층 다목적강당에서 ‘지속가능한 발전과 행복도시 김해’를 위한 ‘김해시 도시재생 거버넌스 포럼대회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 포럼대회는 김해시에서 진행 중인 도시재생사업의 공동체 활동 사례와 성과를 공유하고, 마중물 사업 종료 이후 주민 주도의 지속가능한 마을재생과 주민자치 거버넌스 생태계 구축을 위해 마련됐다.
포럼은 ‘마을공동체 활동 경진대회’ 수상자 시상을 시작으로, 기조세션에서 ‘지속가능발전, 행복도시 김해’를 주제로 기조강연과 전문가 토론이 진행됐다.
이어 특별세션에서는 ▲지속가능 마을재생과 사회적 경제 ▲탄소 중립 에너지전환 마을과 도시재생 ▲도시재생사업에서의 주민자치와 마을공동체 협업을 주제로 민관협치로 만들어 가는 거버넌스 마을재생을 위한 폭넓은 토론 시간을 가졌다.
패널들은 지속가능한 도시재생 활성화를 위한 민관협치의 중요성을 강조하고, 도시재생 활동가 및 주민의 실천적 역량 강화 방안을 제시했다.

박영태 센터장은 “지속가능한 도시재생 활성화와 행복도시 김해를 만들어 가기 위해서는 마을 단위의 주민자치 거버넌스 조직의 협력과 연대의 활성화를 위해 이번 포럼을 열게 됐다”며 “마을 공동체 협업을 바탕으로 탄소중립 실천과 도시재생사업 추진에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
