브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차는 14일 보도자료를 통해 지난 12일 고용노동부 주관으로 세종컨벤션센터에서 열린 ‘2022년 일자리 창출 유공 정부포상 수여식’에서 ‘청년고용촉진’ 부문 대통령 표창을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
일자리 창출 유공 정부포상은 2009년부터 고용노동부가 좋은 일자리 창출에 선도적 역할을 한 개인과 단체를 발굴해 포상하는 제도다.
현대차는 △신입채용 규모 확대 △자체 인턴십 및 산학협력 인턴 운영 △친환경차·자율주행 등 미래산업에 대한 직무교육을 확대 실시해 양질의 청년 일자리 창출을 지원한 공로를 인정받았다.
또한, ‘H-온드림 스타트업 그라운드’를 운영해 사회문제 해결과 일자리 창출에 기여한 점도 높이 평가받았다. H-온드림 스타트업 그라운드는 2012년 시작돼 임팩트 스타트업을 발굴-육성-투자하는 프로젝트다. 올해 9월까지 스타트업 294개를 육성하고 일자리 5195개를 조성했다.
아울러 현대차는 채용 제도 및 근무환경 개선을 위해 △블라인드 채용 △유연근무·재택근무 △스마트 오피스 인프라 확충 등 다양한 지원을 하고 있다.
현대차 관계자는 “현대차는 대한민국 대표 기업으로서 청년들에게 더 좋은 일자리 기회를 제공하기 위해 노력하고 있다”며 “이를 통해 앞으로도 고객에게 사랑과 신뢰를 받는 기업이 될 수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
