경남테크노파크, '의료기기 유망 성장산업'

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남테크노파크는 15일부터 이틀간 거제시 한화리조트 거제 벨버디어에서 김해의생명산업진흥원과 양산부산대학교병원과 공동으로 ‘의료기기 업종전환 지원 기반구축사업 성과확산 콘퍼런스’를 개최한다.

콘퍼런스에 참여한 3개 기관은 작년 4월 산업부의 ‘2021년도 스마트 특성화 기반구축사업’에 선정돼 도내 소재·부품, 기계, 전기·전자, ICT·SW 기업 중 의료기기 업종전환 희망 기업을 발굴했다.

업종전환 기업들이 개발하고 있는 의료기기의 기술적 완성도를 높이기 위해 R&D(기술개발), 장비연계 시제품 제작, 시험평가분석 및 생물학적 안전성 평가 등 기초연구부터 상용화 단계까지 맞춤형으로 지원하고, 의료기기산업 전문역량을 갖출 수 있도록 의료기기 분야로 진입하는 기업들을 위해 ISO13485, 의료기기 인허가에 대한 전문인력 양성교육을 진행하고 있다.

또한 리서치 프로그램 운영을 통해 업종전환 희망 기업들의 의료기기 아이템 발굴 및 비즈니스 전략 수립을 지원해 안정적으로 의료기기 분야에 정착할 수 있도록 도왔다.

이를 통해 올해 신규장비 구축 18건, 사업화 매출액 18.5억원, 신규고용 51명, 업종전환 기업 16개사, 유치/창업기업 16개사, 지식재산권 출원·등록 43건 및 인증 5건을 획득했으며, R&D 13건, 시제품 22건, 시험분석 59건을 지원하고 상반기 중 비임상시험시설을 시험 운영할 예정이다.

노충식 원장은 “의료기기 산업은 높은 성장세를 지속하고 있고 코로나19 이후 유망 성장 산업으로 더욱더 주목을 받는 분야”라며, “본 사업을 통해 의료기기 업종전환 기업들의 경쟁력 강화를 도모하고, 나아가 의료 현장 상용화까지 이어져 우리 기업의 입지를 다지는 계기가 됐으면 한다“고 말했다.
