[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 마산항 친수공간 이용불편 개선과 다양한 볼거리를 제공하는 ‘마산항 친수공간 환경 개선사업’을 시행한다고 24일 밝혔다.

이 사업은 그간 이용불편 사항과 시민의견을 토대로 현재 실시설계가 진행 중에 있다.

사업비 약 2억원이 투입되며 다음달 공사착공해 6월 준공될 예정이다.

한편, 시민 체감 향상을 위해 마산지방해양수산청도 국비 5억원을 투입해 3·15해양누리공원 내 방재언덕 산책로 포장, 운동기구 설치, 조경식재 등을 시행 중에 있어, 보다 쾌적한 환경을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.
