6일 한울본부에 따르면 왕피천공원 내 안전체험관 2층에 위치한‘상상나래존’은 거울이 설치된 공간에 빔프로젝터와 스피커를 통해 생동감있는 그래픽을 연출하는 몰입형 미디어아트 전시관으로 울진의 바다 및 주요 관광명소, 자연, 세계적인 미술작품 등을 소재로 한 몰입형 아트쇼가 펼쳐지고 있다.
스마트폰에‘상상나래존 AR 어플리케이션’을 설치하면 전시되고 있는 미디어아트의 영상을 사전 감상하거나 상영되는 작품과 연동하여 캐릭터 사진 촬영도 가능하다.
한울본부는 울진군 관내에 부족했던 문화체험 인프라를 확충하고 대표적인 관광랜드마크를 구축하고자 상상나래존 설치 사업에 총 4.1억 원을 지원하였으며, 앞으로도 지역주민들을 위한 문화체험 기회 제공과 관광인프라 구축을 통한 지역경제 활성화에 앞장설 계획이다.
상상나래존 관람은 울진군통합예약시스템을 통해 안전체험관 이용 예약 후 가능하며, 울진군민은 체험관 이용요금의 50%까지 할인받을 수 있다.
