[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 26일 진양호공원 후문 꿈키움동산 일원에서 ‘진양호 하모 놀이숲’‘진양호 환상의 숲’, ‘진양호 편익 모노레일’준공식을 가졌다.
시는 진양호공원 조성사업으로 2022년 5월부터 진양호 가족쉼터와 꿈키움동산 일원에 진주시 홍보대사인 하모 캐릭터를 활용한 어린이 놀이시설과 디지털 접목 테마 숲을 조성하고 꿈키움동산과 진주시전통예술회관을 연결하는 이동 복지수단인 편익 모노레일 설치사업을 추진해왔다.
‘진양호 하모 놀이숲’은 2001년에 조성된 가족쉼터 일원의 낡고 오래된 시설을 특색 있는 친자연형 어린이 놀이시설로 재탄생시킨 시설로서 기존 놀이터의 전형적인 틀에서 벗어나 현지 지형을 최대한 활용해 주변 숲과 어우러진 다양한 놀이와 체험이 가능하도록 조성됐다.
진양호 수달을 상징하는 하모 캐릭터를 활용한 하모 조합놀이대와 나무모형의 놀이공간을 연결하는 네트놀이, 지형을 활용한 경사면 모험놀이와 대형 미끄럼틀, 타잔놀이 등 놀이공간을 조성해 설치검사 후 지난 3월 6일부터 개방해 이용자들에게 인기를 누리고 있다.
