브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 검찰이 LH(한국토지주택공사)가 발주한 감리 입찰 담합 의혹과 관련한 업체들에 대해 대거 압수수색에 나섰다.
서울중앙지검 공정거래조사부(부장검사 이정섭)은 LH 및 조달청이 발주한 건설사업관리용역(감리) 입찰담합 사건과 관련해 11개 건축사 사무소 및 관련자 주거지 등을 압수수색하고 있다고 30일 밝혔다.
이번 압수수색은 검찰이 자진신고 사건에 대해 수사에 나선 것으로, 공정거래위원회의 고발이 없었음에도 자체적으로 진행하고 있다.
최근 'LH 건설현장 철근 누락 사태' 등으로 허술한 감리·감독이 부실시공으로 이어졌음이 드러났기 때문에 철저한 수사가 필요하다는 게 검찰의 입장이다.
검찰에 따르면 지난 4월 입찰담함에 참여한 업체 중 한 곳이 자진신고함에 따라 수사가 시작됐다. 공사 한 군데마다 용역 금액이 수십억원에 달한 만큼, 검찰은 입찰담합으로 인한 부정수익 규모가 수천억원에 이를 것으로 보고 있다.
한편 공정위도 철근 누락이 드러난 공공아파트 15곳 중 5곳만 LH가 직접 감리했다고 밝히며 나머지 10곳을 대상으로 감리 입찰담합 여부를 조사 중에 있다.
