(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시립합창단이 11일, 연말을 맞이하여 크리스마스 선물 같은 공연을 마련한다고 밝혔다.
합창단에 따르면, 상임지휘자 김선아가 지휘하는 이번 공연은 소프라노 윤지, 카운터테너 정민호, 테너 김세일, 베이스 안대현이 협연하고 콜레기움 무지쿰 서울이 관현악 연주를 맡아 부천시립합창단과 함께 송년의 밤을 장식한다.
부천시립합창단의 2023년을 마무리할 바흐의 ‘크리스마스 오라토리오’는 바흐가 성탄 시기의 여섯 축일을 위해 쓴 칸타타 역작이다.
이 작품은 여섯 곡이 각각 독립적이면서도 서로 긴밀하게 연결되어 있으며, 부천시립합창단은 이 중 성탄절을 위한 1부, 새해 첫 주일을 위한 5부, 공현 축일을 위한 6부를 연주할 예정이다.
성탄절을 위한 작품답게 전체적으로 밝고 경쾌하며, 당시의 음악보다 상대적으로 현대적인 갈란트풍의 가벼움을 선보인다.
김선아 지휘자는 “바흐의 ‘크리스마스 오라토리오’는 크리스마스 시즌이면 유럽 전역에서 많이 연주되는 작품이다. 작은 오페라와 같은 스토리텔링이 특징으로 바로크 음악에 익숙하지 않은 관객도 즐겁게 보실 수 있을 것”이라며 “특히 함께 협연할 윤지, 정민호, 김세일, 안대현 성악가와 콜레기움 무지쿰 서울은 바흐 작품에 정통한 국내 대표 바흐 전문 연주자이기 때문에 완성도 높은 음악을 감상하실 수 있으리라 보장한다”고 말했다.
