군포의왕교육지원청(교육장 성정현)이 지난해 12월 29일 군포제일교회에서 사단법인 성민원과 군포의왕 지역의 인성교육 활성화를 위해 인성교육 업무협약(MOU)를 체결했다.
성민원은 1998년 설립된 군포제일교회 부설기관으로 아동·청소년·노인·장애인 복지뿐만 아니라 무료급식, 성민소년소녀합창단·성민실버합창단 등을 통한 문화복지, 복지현장을 전하는 GBN뉴스를 운영하는 종합복지 기관이다.
이번 협약은 군포의왕교육지원청 인성교육의 방향과 목적을 공유하고 성민원의 다양한 사회복지 교육프로그램을 활용해 군포의왕시 관내에 있는 학생을 위한 인성교육 활성화를 위해 마련했다.
협약 주요 내용은 △지역자원을 통한 인성교육 활성화로 인성교육 생태계 구축 △인성교육 사업에 관한 인적·물적 자원의 공유로 사회 복지 증진 △인성과 역량을 갖춘 지역의 미래인재 양성을 위한 상호 협력 등이다.
협약식에는 성정현 경기도군포의왕교육지원청 교육장, 권태진 사단법인 성민원 이사장 등 업무담당자를 포함하여 10여명이 참석했다.
