[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 양산시는 전국 최고가 수준이던 종량제 봉투 가격을 다음 달 5월 1일부터 인하한다고 밝혔다.
그동안 양산지역의 종량제 봉투 가격은 전국에서 가장 비싼 수준으로 꼽혀왔다.
이번 조치에 따라 주요 규격의 가격이 일제히 인하된다.
10리터봉투는 기존 500원에서 400원, 20리터는 950원에서 780원, 30리터는 1,500원에서 1,160원으로 낮아진다. 규격별로 100원에서 최대 340원까지 가격이 떨어지는 셈이다.
시는 향후 양산시 자원회수시설 현대화사업을 통해 시설 운영비 절감이 예상됨에 따라 이를 선제적으로 반영해 고물가 시대 시민들의 생활비 부담을 완화하기 위해 가격 인하를 결정했다고 설명했다.
다만, 5월 1일 이전에 구매한 봉투의 경우 차액 환불이 불가능하다.
