(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 인천시가 9일, 갑진년 새해를 맞아 오는 10일부터 23일까지 ‘인천시민애집’(중구 신포로39번길 74)에서 ‘개항장을 회상하다’ 수묵화 작품 전시회를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 이번 전시회는 인천 개항장과 내항을 사랑하는 시민들이 ‘개항장을 회상하다’라는 주제로 그린 수묵화 작품들로 꾸며진다.
시민 참여자들은 지난해 1883개항살롱(개항장&내항 현장지원센터)에서 10주간 수묵화를 배우며 개항장과 내항의 과거, 그리고 현재 모습을 표현한 작품을 완성했다.
1883개항살롱은 개항장과 내항의 과거·현재·미래를 테마로 2개년에 걸친 3개의 ‘시즌제 문화예술 체험 프로그램’을 기획했다.
지난해 시즌1‘개항장을 회상하다(수묵화)’프로그램에 이어, 올해 봄에는 시즌2 ‘찰칵! 스케치(어반스케치)’, 가을에는 시즌3 ‘인천 내항 상상플러스(수채화)」를 운영할 예정이다.
시민들은 1883개항살롱의 ‘시즌제 프로그램’을 통해 인천 개항의 역사를 몸소 체험하며 근대 인천의 상징이었던 ‘제물포’의 가치에 대해 생각해 보는 기회를 가질 수 있다.
