(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 15일, ‘한마음 공원 내 한국전력 수직구 조성 사업’ 준공 후 공원 원상복구를 마무리하고 시민들에게 개방했다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 시는 그간 수직구 공사로 불편을 겪었던 시민들에게 더욱 푸르고 쾌적한 공원으로 되돌려주기 위해 한국전력과의 협의에 지속적으로 힘써온 결과 한국전력의 최종 수락을 얻어 당초 10억원으로 책정한 원상복구비를 약 17억원 규모로 늘려 이번 공원 리모델링 사업을 완료했다.
부천시는 공원 설계부터 준공에 이르기까지 리모델링 과정에 적극적으로 참여해 공원 최종안을 도출했다.
이후 설문조사 및 주민설명회를 거쳐 주민 의견을 반영하는 등 시민이 만족할 수 있는 공원녹지 서비스를 제공하기 위해 노력했다.
한마음 공원 전체 면적은 6,181㎡로, 남녀노소 누구나 함께 어울릴 수 있는 복합 공간으로 조성됐다.
공원 주요 공간으로 녹지공간, 휴게공간, 외곽 순환 산책로, 어린이놀이터, 시니어 운동 공간, 기타 편익 시설 등을 조성했다. 특히 화장실을 전면 리모델링 해 시민 편의를 높였다.
