브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 더불어민주당 지도부가 오는 4·10 총선에 적용할 선거제도와 관련한 당론 결정 권한을 이재명 대표에게 위임하기로 결정했다.
강선우 대변인은 2일 최고위원회의 직후 기자들과 만난 자리에서 "(선거제도 변경에 대한) 당의 입장을 정하는 권한을 이재명 대표에게 위임하기로 했다"고 밝혔다.
강 대변인은 특히 "이재명 대표에게 포괄적 권한을 위임하기로 최고위에서 결정했다"고 설명했다. 이는 전당원 투표로 선거제도를 결정할지 말지 역시도 이 대표가 결정할 수 있다는 의미로 해석된다.
다만 강 대변인은 "이후 절차는 아직 정해지지 않았다"고 덧붙였다.
이와 관련 민주당 한 관계자는 "이제 당론 결정 권한을 위임받은 이재명 대표가 당무위를 통할지, 중앙위에서 정할지, 전당원 투표를 통해 정할지 등을 고민할 것으로 보인다"고 설명했다.
