[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 경남도의 2024년 시군 주요업무 합동평가 결과 정성평가 부문에서 시부 1위에 선정돼 우수기관 표창과 특별조정교부금 1억900만원을 받는 성과를 얻었다.
시군 주요업무 합동평가는 경남도가 18개 시군을 대상으로 주요 국·도정 과제에 대한 시군의 행정역량과 추진성과를 평가하기 위해 정량평가·정성평가부문으로 나눠 평가한다.
2024년 평가는 지난 2023년 실적을 평가하는 6대 국정목표 88개, 경남도 역점과제 28개 등 총 116개 지표에 대한 평가가 진행됐다.
정량평가는 지표에 대한 시·군의 목표 달성률을 평가하고, 정성평가는 합동평가단이 2차례에 걸쳐 사례를 심사해 분야별 시부·군부 각 2개의 우수사례를 선정했다.
진주시는 정성평가 결과, 24개 지표 중 지방자치단체 간 연계·협력 추진 우수사례, 국내외 관광객 유치 우수사례 등 총 17건이 우수사례로 선정돼 시부 1위를 차지했다.
정량평가에서는 92개 지표 가운데 82개 지표의 목표치를 달성하여 달성률 88.6%(도내평균 87.9%)의 성과를 거뒀다.
이로써 진주시는 지난 2022년, 2023년에도 정량·정성평가 종합 1위의 우수한 성적을 거둬 3년 연속 시군 합동평가 우수기관으로 선정되는 쾌거를 이뤘다.
