(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 20일, 한국전자기술연구원과 함께 산업통상자원부 주관 ‘2024년 산업혁신기반구축사업’의 미래선도형 과제 중 하나인 ‘생활지원을 위한 서비스로봇 부품 기술지원 기반구축’에 선정돼 국비 100억원을 확보했다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 5대 특화산업 중 하나인 로봇산업의 육성 지원을 위해 유치한 한국전자기술연구원(부천)을 주관기관으로 한국로봇융합연구원(부산)이 컨소시엄에 참여했다.
사업 규모는 국비 100억원, 지방비 18억원(부천시 6억원, 부산시 12억원) 현물 55억원 등 총 사업비 173억원으로 협약체결일로부터 2028년까지 5년간 사업수행을 하게 된다.
이번 과제는 제조로봇 중심의 시장에서 인공지능(AI) 기술 등을 접목한 생활서비스 로봇 시장으로 수요가 확장하는 것을 선제적으로 대응하고자 생활서비스 로봇 부품을 체계적으로 시험·평가할 수 있는 실증 기반 마련을 목표로 한다.
