(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 인천문화재단이 오는 6월 21일부터 7월 28일까지 재단이 운영하는 우리미술관에서 이주현 작가의 ‘이행대’ 전시가 열린다고 밝혔다.
재단에 따르면, 우리미술관은 여름방학을 맞이하여, 청소년 관람객을 비롯하여 다양한 관람 층을 대상으로 신비로운 느낌의 설치 작품을 선보인다.
‘이행대’ 전시는 이주현 작가가 인천의 바다를 ‘이행대(移行帶, Ecotone)’라는 인접한 두 상이한 생태계가 공존하는 경계영역으로 설정하고, 이를 독특한 생명체(가오리 형태의 바다 생물)를 빌어 입체물로 시각화했다.

이주현 작가는 인천에서 태어나 홍익대학교 조소과 박사과정을 마친 후, 현재 인천 영종도에서 살며 작업 활동을 한다.
