제9대 태안군의회 후반기 의장에 전재옥 의원이 선출됐다.
태안군의회는 25일 오전 10시 태안군의회 본회의장에서 열린 제304회 임시회에서 전재옥 의원이 의장으로, 박용성 의원이 부의장으로 당선됐다.
의장으로 당선된 전재옥 의원은 가 선거구 재선의원으로 9대 전반기 부의장직을 맡아 의정활동을 이어왔으며, 민주평화통일자문회의 위원, 태안군 개발위원회 위원으로 활동하고 있다. 부의장으로 당선된 박용성 의원(나 선거구, 재선)은 8대 전반기 부의장을 역임하였으며, (사)한국후계농업경영인 고남면 회장과 안면읍 남성의용소방대장을 지냈다.
이날 후반기 의장단 선거는 재적의원 7명 중 4명이 투표에 참여하였으며, 의장과 부의장 모두 각각 4표를 얻어 당선이 확정됐다.
